P3M3 Certification Assessment
Our P3M3 Certification Assessment is an in-depth review of your organisation’s capability in portfolio, programme or project management against the seven key perspectives in the P3M3 model – management control, benefits management, stakeholder management, risk management, finance management, resource management and organisational governance.
The primary use of this service is to gain formal accreditation and certification of your organisation’s P3M3 maturity level in projects, programmes and/or portfolios.
Our P3M3 Certification Assessment is suitable for organisations which have been implementing portfolio, programme and project management frameworks such as OGC’s PRINCE2, APM’s BoK, PMI’s PMBoK, IPMA’s ICB etc, and now seek recognition for their work.
The independent assessment is conducted by Registered Consultants, in accordance with the APMG Quality Manual.
Subject to demonstrating suitable evidence, the organisation will be awarded a certificate for the maturity level attained. See P3M3 for a description of levels.
The service includes:
- Initial scoping meeting to decide the maximum maturity level to be assessed
- Application form submitted to APMG
- Detailed desk study of key documentation
- One to one interviews (minimum 15; depending on number of concurrent projects)
- Production of a Capability Assessment Report
- Submission of evidence and recommendation for certification to APMG
- APMG issue certificate for maturity level attained (if successful)
