The course is aimed at anyone appointed to any role in a project conducted in accordance with PRINCE2. It will equip the participants to understand the language and principles of PRINCE2 and will provide them with an explanation of why which information is needed in order to achieve a controlled start, progress and close of a project.
Delegates will
• understand the need for roles, components, processes and techniques;
• get an overview of all processes, their content and input and output;
• be introduced to the key Management Products;
• understand the details of controlled progress;
• are being prepared to sit the Foundation exam at the end of the second day.
Note
After gaining some experience working in PRINCE2 projects, delegates can attempt Practitioner certification by attending the 3-day Practitioner-Build-up course.
This is a two-day course which includes the Foundation Examination at the end of the second day. The exam consists of 75 multiple choice questions and lasts one hour.
The course will blend formal presentation with group exercises.
