Course Objectives

Management of Portfolios (MoP) is the latest guide to be issued by the Office of Government Commerce of the United Kingdom. It provides practical guidance for those people involved in a company's strategic planning process and for portfolio managers and heads of PMOs, as well as useful information for programme and project managers seeking to understand the purpose behind portfolio management and learn more about how it works.
The course gives an overview of the principles, the portfolio management process, and the techniques that can be applied within that process. You will discover how the application of these techniques depends on the company's maturity level and become familiar with the most important aspects of implementing portfolio management.
